Unleash The Power Within

Last weekend I participated in one of the most amazing experiences of my life, ‘Unleash The Power Within’, a 4 day seminar with Tony Robbins in Sydney.

The main reason of attending was to firewalk which we did on the first day, I didn’t feel any heat what so ever. From then on what happened was so profound.

I completely reprogrammed my mind and have removed negative experiences from my life / childhood and created a new timeline.

I realised I was living my life with excellent standards but to reach the next level in life you must have ‘OUTSTANDING’ Standards which is only a 2mm gap you need to close. This will be beneficial in all aspects of my life especially my business.

On the last day we heard about nutrition which I also learnt some very profound new information and found this extremely interesting as I am studying to be a personal trainer.
I am now on day 7 of a DETOX Tony put us on and am loving it!!! No alcohol, caffeine and an alkaline diet + a few other new healthy & positive habits to incorporate.

This seminar was such a precious gift I gave to myself, the information was priceless and the results truly invaluable!!
Thank you Tony, you certainly did create value and more than expected!!!

Please, please, please start teaching your program in schools you could revolutionise the world even more by programming correct mind, body and nutritional habits from an early age!!!

Some other information I learnt from my notes:

- Emotion is created by Motion.

- Who you spend life with is who you become.

- People lives are a direct reflection of the expectations of their peer group.

- Find a peer group that has higher expectations that your own.

- The only thing that stops you getting what you want is the story you tell yourself.

- Problems & Happiness have no relationship.

- Wire yourself for certaintly and you will find the skills

- We live what we hold in out subconscious

- Secret to wealth and happiness; to be a team player

- Treat people well who treat your poorly

- Life is about LOVE

- Proximity is Power!

- “If I can’t, then I MUST!”

- The secret of life, STANDARDS!

- Want to change your life then raise your standards.

- Raise your standards means turns your shoulds into musts.

- Compete with yourself.

- See things completed in your mind first.

- How much you earn or who you are in a relationship with comes down to your beliefs or values.

- Our rules & values can make it impossible to feel good.

- More joy = less or better rules

- When you are grateful there is no anger or fear.

- The secret to HAPPINESS is PROGRESS!

- I am not what I eat, I am what I digest & assimilate.

- 5mins of anger suppresses your immune system for 6-7hours

- Stress is the basis of what makes the body break down.

The purpose of life is to be happy? Right or Wrong?

Thank you Mr Pitt for your wise words last night on Sixty Minutes, people put too much pressure on themselves believing you must be happy all day everyday!!
Content is good!

TARA BROWN: That’s OK. I guess the point is are you happy or are you unhappy?

BRAD PITT: I think happiness is overrated, truthfully. I do. I think sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re not. There’s too much pressure to be happy. I don’t know. I don’t really give a shit. I know I will be at times and I know I won’t be at times. Satisfied, at peace, those would be more goals for myself.

TARA BROWN: So, is Brad Pitt content today?

BRAD PITT: Content. OK, I will go with content. Uh, I dare say so. I probably won’t be next week.

TARA BROWN:
But then you will be the week after?

BRAD PITT: But then I will be the week after, so I’m content with that.

What is happiness or success to you? Pleasure or Pain?

“Successful people admire other successful people; unsuccessful people resent them. If you view wealthy people as bad in any way, you can never be rich, because how can you be something you don’t like?” - T. Harv Eker

“Happy people admire other happy people; unhappy people resent them. If you view happy people as bad in any way (no matter what it is to the individual that makes them happy or successful; family, community work, achievements, money, career, their looks, their friends….), you can never be happy, because how can you be something you don’t like?”

Who’s to say what is real and not real, or important or not important, successful or not successful to them but the individual themselves with what they know in the present moment?

Is it OK to be happy, successful and have money as long as long as you do not RELY on this for inner happiness?
The Dalai Lama is one of the happiest people and his organisation one of the wealthiest in the world, having won numerous awards and is surrounded by luxury, people pay top dollar to listen to him speak about inner peace … yet his life is based on Three Main Commitments for his inner happiness and not the above.

There are so may ways to feel rich inside.

What is happiness or success to you? Pleasure or Pain? And who is the judge ….. you??? Do you make conscious decisions? or follow the opinions of others?

TRUMP and JEANETTE

For 3 days I have listened to some of the most amazing and inspiring millionaires from our country and the world including Anthony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki and DONALD TRUMP!
Event details here.
Talk about being on the biggest high ever!

As a motivated professional business woman it is extremely important to me that I learn from the absolute best for dynamic self improvement and that I am an EXPERT in my field improving what I can offer my clients in solving their business advertising problems to increase their confidence, profit and client base.

I like to set huge goals and go for them to inspire others to shoot for their dreams also and my latest goal was to have a photo taken with my business IDOL the legendary DONALD TRUMP currently valued at SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS!

Trump was introduced to the stage by Australian Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins.

I just LOVE Trump and especially his TV series The Apprentice. He is such a wise, educated, funny  and intelligent business man with a hardcore, can do attitude and to me a great mentor.
He is inspiring, motivated, professional, successful, speaks his mind on all matters, extremely family orientated and I felt a real kindness in his presence.

Trump said, “I believe, get even with people, if they screw you, screw them back ten times as hard!”

This reminded me of how local managing Director Malcolm Quinn of the Fraser Coast Independent Newspaper stole $2,505 from me for a ticket to meet and greet and have a photo taken with Mr Trump three years earlier. Mr Quinn failed in his attempt to put on this similar event in the past with Donald Trump and still owes him $950,000 plus Australian business people $1.5 million! (More info here, here, here and here).

From that day on it became a goal that I must achieve to have my photo taken with Trump! I even photo shopped a photo of Trump and I two years ago to begin the Law of Attraction process.

After Trump finished his speech at the event, I went back for a question / answer session with him.  When I had pushed my way through 150 VIPs and security, bravely attracted Trump’s attention to ask for a photo and was given the go ahead he was wearing the same pink tie he had on in my photo shopped image!
I said to him that Malcolm Quinn had ‘screwed’ me for money in the past as he also had done to Trump. Trump then said to me, “Who’s that?” … I laughed in agreement!!

He looked me in the eye and asked me directly if I had enjoyed his speech to which I replied with honesty I thoroughly did!!! We also made a few other small comments. I then made my way to the back of the room, where I was on such an adrenalin rush that I had achieved another long term goal that my knees began to shake!
Of course I have no doubt we will meet and converse again on many occasions.

Meeting my business idol and finally achieving my goal to have a photo taken with him has made me believe even more in the Law of Attraction, being positive and that anything is possible in life!!! What an absolutely amazing, thought provoking and sensational experience! One of many more to come!

A big thank you to Michael Burnett from Empowernet for successfully organising such an Amazing event!!

Before the seminar I also ran 9km in the Sydney Running Festival across the Sydney Harbour Bridge plus checked out the beautiful Sydney Chinese Gardens afterwards!

Some of Trumps’ quotes from his speech:

-       “Be totally focused, you can’t take your eye off the ball”
-       “Rich people don’t like rich people, historically, well I don’t”
-       “I like Losers to be my friends”
-       “The harder I work the luckier I get”
-       “You can make yourself Lucky”
-       “You need passion, go against the tide”
-       “Go with your gut, go against the tide, I like that”
-       “Get even with people, if you don’t they will continue to go after you”
-       “If someone screws you, screw them back in spades!”
-       “Always get a pre-nup!”
-       “Think Big, it’s much easier”
-       “Focus on the positive”
-       “The word momentum is very important”
-       “Believe in yourself, see yourself as a one man band, see yourself as victorious, you have to think like a WINNER!”
-       “Can you take the pressure!”

You Can Heal Your Life! by Louise Hay

I have finally found what I would call my BIBLE!

…. something that makes clear and concise spiritual and life sense to me! Finally!

Beginning my spiritual journey over five years ago, when I finally realised I can make choices and changes in my life, I had heard of Louise Hay but never picked up her books.

OMG her philosophy based on forgiving your past, reprogramming our negative and self destructive though patterns and learning to love ourselves is universal to every human being!

We are each responsible for all of our experiences.
Every thought we think is creating our future.
The point of power is always in the present moment.
Everyone suffers from self-hatred and guilt.
The bottom line for everyone is,
“I’m not good enough.”
It’s only a thought, and a thought can be changed.
We create every so-called illness in our body.
Resentment, criticism and guilt are the most damaging patterns.
Releasing resentment will dissolve even cancer.
When we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.
We must release the past and forgive everyone.
We must be willing to begin to learn to love ourselves.
Self-approval and self-acceptance in the now are the key to positive changes.
When we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.

I have been learning abit about Buddhist meditation but feel being brought up Catholic and finding that too constricting in my life I don’t really want to take on another religion at this stage plus focusing on different breathing patterns and counting colours associated with calm abiding meditation was not especially what I was looking for. But I agree with Louise’s comments on meditation and think I will give that ago:

Meditation in any of its forms is a wonderful way to quiet the mind and allow your own “knowingness” to come to the surface. I usually just sit with my eyes closed and say, “What is it I need to know?” and then I wait quietly for an answer. If the answer comes, fine; if it doesn’t, fine. It will come another day.

This is another concept I like and see a lot of people struggling with:

So many of us feel that money is the most important thing in our lives and that we could not live without it. This is not true…. Our breath is the most precious substance in our lives and yet we totally take for granted that our next breath will be there. If we did not take another breath, we would not last three minutes. Now if the Power that created us has given us enough breath to last for as long as we shall live, can we not trust that everything else we need will also be supplied?

Being brought up Catholic and taught as a child that sex before marriage is a sin, I also absolutely love this philosophy now that I am free to chose what I believe is right for my body and values…

Who told you to deny any part of your body? Certainly not God. Our sexual organs were created as the most pleasurable part of our body to give us pleasure. To deny this is to create pain and punishment. Sex is okay, it is glorious and wonderful. It is as normal for us to have sex as it is for us to breathe or eat.

Just for a moment try to visualise the vastness of the Universe. It is beyond our comprehension. Even our top scientists with their latest equipment cannot measure its size. Within this Universe there are many galaxies.

In one of these smaller galaxies in a far-off corner, there is a minor sun. Around this sun a few pinpoints revolve, one of which is called Planet Earth.

I find it hard to believe that the vast, incredible intelligence that created this entire Universe is only an old man sitting on a cloud above Planet Earth … watching my genitals!

This book is also amazingly illustrated by Joan Perrin Falquet!
I thrive on colour and this version of the book is full of it, creating a positive happy vibe.

Reading this book feels to me like what I think winning the Lottery would feel like!!!!
I hope you feel the same when you read it! x
Don’t delay like I did!

Thank you Louise, all my love Jeanette xoxo

Sir Charles Kingsford Smith

In 1931 my grandmother and her father had a 15minute plane ride with Sir Charles Kingsford Smith in the Southern Cross.

She wrote on the picture, “He and his navigator & mechanic were on a ‘barn storming’ flight to raise money to continue flying. There were not any big government handouts in those days. We enjoyed the flight but I got alittle fright when the plane hit an airpocket & suddenly dropped. The Southern Cross can be seen at Eagle Farm Airport. My children so much enjoyed seeing it – The flight cost my father one pound.”

Photo below, he is pictured in the cockpit.

Happy New Year!!!

WOW, I have so many exciting ideas and goals for this year, 2011, that I could just burst!!!

Do You???

If not, this clip ‘Will Smith Wisdom’ may help to inspire you …. one must live their best life!!!

Dalai Lama 2011 Visit to the Sunshine Coast

As you may know, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will visit Chenrezig Institute on June 16, 2011 to bless the Garden of Enlightenment, discuss modern-day ethics with senior high school students, officially reopen the Gompa, and give a public teaching on Developing Compassion.

Organizing His Holiness’ visit is a vast undertaking and a sub-committee has been established to manage the planning and preparations. An enormous amount of work is required to ensure we’re ready to support 3,500 people on the day. … more info here.

Mt Tibrogargan / Sunshine Coast Business Awards

This morning we decided to give Mt Tibrogargan a go for some exercise as I heard this is quite a hard mountain to climb. Well it certainly was and I didn’t even get past the first rock scramble! It was practically vertical and quite scary with not much to hang on to.

There were some people about 15mertres above me on a ledge and they said if you were having trouble there don’t come any higher as they were concerned as to how they were going to get back down to where I was.

It is quite common for bush walkers to be rescued from this mountain and flown out by helicopter, so common sense prevailed and we decided to come back down and walk around the mountain instead!

That night it was off for some fun at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards held at the University with over 600 attendees. The food was delicious and the event was very well run. There were a few problems with the PA system towards the end but our MC Richard Champion made sure the night flowed and was quite amusing.

Tibetan Earthquake Benefit Concert

Saturday night I attended the Tibetan Earthquake Benefit concert organised by my friend Kirsty Chenery at the Z Pac Theatre, Zepher St. Hervey Bay.

The evening started with a viewing of: ‘The Sun Behind the Clouds …..Tibet’s struggle for freedom’ Movie. This movie was excellent, clearly portraying the current and ongoing dilemma Tibetans and His Holiness the Dalai Lama face in trying to see a middle path so that Tibetans can live in their own country (currently overtaken by the Chinese), keeping their customs alive and the practice of Buddhism.
This was a special preview as the movie is not officially released till October so we very blessed to be given this viewing.

We then enjoyed some food as many brought along a plate to share.

Following our break we had a great live performance from Alena of some of her original songs. Alena is a student at our local Buddhist Sanctuary and this was her first ever live performance – The Oddiyana Dharma Sanctuary.
The theatre was also decorated beautifully with pray flags by Alena earlier in the day.

This was followed by an exciting performance by the very talented special guests Tenzin Choegyal and Tibet2Timbuk2.

Their music ranged from relaxing, to mesmerising, to captivating to upbeat I want to dance songs!
Most of their songs are either written about birds, lakes or mountains!
They were very amusing making us laugh.

Tibet2Timbuk2 has an eclectic repertoire including group arrangements of Tenzin’s Tibetan songs, Marcello’s English songs, collaborative songs and instrumentals and even classical tabla solo.  The overall sound is full and organic, with all three musicians sharing bass, percussion, harmony and melody roles to create a solid yet easy groove.

All up over $3,000 was raised on this very successful and enlightening night!
Awesome job, Kirst xox and all who participated, helped and attended!
There was alot of love in the room!

Patrizio Buanne – The Italian Stallion!

Friday night I went to see Patrizio Buanne live in Concert at the Convention Centre in Brisbane. What a thoroughly enjoyable performance. Patrizio’s voice is so strong and sounds like it has come from the heavens!
Add to that his moves, charisma, sex appeal plus 14 piece orchestra and you are in for one very sexy, professional, amusing and entertaining performance.

I just had to buy his latest album but unfortunately unlike when I went to his concert in 2007, Patrizio didn’t do a signing after his concert.

Patrizio Buanne spent his childhood between his hometown in Naples, Italy and Vienna, Austria, due to his parent’s restaurant business.

This multi-cultural upbringing sparked in Patrizio an early passion for languages, and by the age of 17 he already spoke fluent Italian, German, English, French and Spanish. It seemed obvious for both Patrizio and his parents for him to become an interpreter, and after graduation from school he went on to study Slavic languages at University and today he can add fluent Polish to his language tool kit. But whilst his aptitude for languages is admirable, a much greater gift, apparent even from the age of 4, was emerging – his gift to be able to sing and entertain people….

But what quality separates Patrizio from other great artists? Is it the natural grace of his voice, the “rugged” good looks, or the confident, casual, respectful attention that he gives to his audience? Or is it just the basic trust he evokes in people?

A little disappointed I didn’t get a close up encounter with Patrizio this time, I was pleasantly surprised on my return flight home from Brisbane to see the all time Australian Legend Jimmy Barnes was on my flight.

Not being one to miss an opportunity I had my photo snapped with My Cold Chisel Hero at the Brisbane Airport!!!

Deepak @ QPAC

“When you change the way you look at something, what you are looking at will change.” – Deepak Chopra

Last night I went to listen to Deepak Chopra at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). What an intelligent, amusing and insightful man with a profound understanding of the universe. (Deepak Chopra is one of Oprah’s spiritual mentors)

Here are a few things I learned:
-       Our body’s our subconscious mind
-       The mind is in all cells of the body not the brain
-       Your body is in your mind which is a larger field of consciousness
-       The human body is not a structure it’s a process
-       In one year all atoms in our body are replaced – therefore the Deepac talking to me was not the same Deepac who visited Australia a year ago
-       The physical body is the recycling of earth, water and air
-       Our experience of the world is based on vibration
-       All thoughts are either choices or interpretations of past or future
-       Why can’t you be found in your body? Because you are not there, you are not in it. The body is in you.
-       Everything is a vibration.
-       Void is infinite possibilities, immeasurable potential

-       The Science of happiness; find happiness first then you will have happiness in relationships, finance, health etc. … don’t look for these things to make you happy.

-       Happiness Formula; H = S + C + V
Happiness equals Self Point in the brain plus Conditions of Living plus Voluntary Actions.

SELF POINT is determined in childhood; the first 3 year of our life. This is 50% of our happiness experience. You can change your self point through meditation.
CONDITION OF LIVING is what’s happening around you. 10%
VOLUNTARY ACTIONS, what we do every day. 40%

-       Are our choices for ourselves or do they make others happy?
-       Love is the ultimate truth. Love is God. Love awakens the soul.
-       There is no difference between you and the whole of the universe
-       The world is as we are
-       Have all the time in the world!

-       Our brain:
Right Hemisphere – works in the present moment, right here, right now. Looks, tastes, smells, sounds and feels.
Left Hemisphere – works in the past and future. Thinks in language, ongoing brain chatter.

-       Short daily MEDITATION (start with 10mins)

  1. Put your attention to the heart and say to yourself, “Who am I?”and see what comes up, if you drift away just come back to the question, “Who am I?”. Now ask yourself ‘What do I want?”
  2. Gratitude – Now be thankful for all the good in your life
  3. Now repeat, ‘I AM” to yourself for as long as you like (10 mins minimum)
Put your attention on your body, feeling each body part, cell and atom to be light, white and sparkling

-       TOTAL WELL BEING

  1. SOCIAL; our moods, emotions, energy and information is contagious!
  2. PHYSICAL; sleep, yoga, exercise
  3. COMMUNITY; Share a cause
  4. CAREER; Use your strengths
  5. FINANCIAL: Don’t buy things to impress people. Spend money on experience & happy memories. The more you give the more you have.

Take the VOW – for well being!

This experience with Deepak has me on such a high! There is so much to learn and hearing his concepts makes me even more excited about the infinite possibilities in all aspects of my life!!!! I have so many new ideas and concepts to practise and put in place.

Awesome Quote of the Day

“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure.

I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle.

But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”

— Marilyn Monroe

(My thoughts exactly!!!!)

How Extraordinary, Mr Quinn?

Voluntary Administration to Managing Director in FOUR MONTHS!!

Well welcome to Hervey Bay Malcolm Quinn!
Will you now be giving me back my $2,505 you owe me for my ticket to the Donald Trump seminar?! (Read more here.)  I’ve have been secretly hoping Karma (or the courts) would deal with this.

Wow and you’re starting a new advertising firm after putting your last one the ‘Concept Store’ in Voluntary Administration just four months ago, after racking up the below debts?

To cap off Quinn’s woes, the creditors are mounting up.

So far, just 1500 tickets out of 8000 have been sold, and those ticket holders are owed an estimated $1.5 million.

Trump himself is demanding the further $950,000 he says he is still owed, whether the tour goes ahead or not.

Sponsor Sarina Russo faces a loss of nearly $50,000. Gold Coast Convention Centre is owed $16,000. Sydney PR guru Max Marxson says he’s “sold a few tickets” to the event, but is probably going to have to “write it all off to experience”

“Think Like a Billionaire” had been badly promoted by Mr Quinn, whose background was in newspaper publishing and advertising. ………. “I think it was amateurish and unprofessional. It was obvious the promoters here bit off more than they could chew.”………..

….. click here to read more …… or here  …… or here …… or here …..

Superior Advertising, poor Mr Quinn would be lucky to manage a chook raffle with his track record!

Anyway all the best ………. I guess I can always start a competition publication….. Mr Trump may like to buy my first Front Cover!

For HONEST, PROFESSIONAL & OUTSTANDING Marketing & Advertising on the Fraser Coast make sure you utilise a professional with a proven & award winning track record DESIGN HOUSE!!

Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction says people’s thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) dictate the reality of their lives, whether or not they’re aware of it. Essentially “if you really want something and truly believe it’s possible, you’ll get it”,… click here to learn more.

The Secret teaches us that we create our lives, with every thought every minute of every day…. click here to learn more.

I am a huge believer in this theory and see the effects of it in my live on a very regular basis. What you put out to the universe is what you will recieve. Only you have the choice of whether you attract good or bad into your life.

This Tuesday when our Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was in town on Melbourne Cup day for talks re our health system I put it out there to have a photo with him on my facebook profile stating, “The PM is in Hervey Bay today, hope I see him to get a snapshot!!!”

The following day we both made the front page of the local newspaper!!!! (I am the small picture top right ha ha!)

Unfortunately on this occasion I made a slight flaw forgetting to put it out there to meet and be photographed together in person, not at different events!

Ok time to put it out there again, see how I go this time….

“Dear Jeanette, thank you so much for visiting me in New York, I am so thrilled we finally have had a photo taken together. I would love to pay for your trip! “…. lol your mate forever Donald Trump
