Looks like you had a great time at the 2001 Beer Can Regatta. This satisfies the 1st Can-mandment – “Thou shall enter the event in the right spirit – to have a great time”
Can you give me some more info, and do you have any more pix?
What was the name of your boat, did it float, and did you win any races?
If you have pix, can I use them on the Beer Can Regatta website?

Hi Anne, Thank you for your comments, I guess with a 4 decade age gap you would notice a big difference in how women conduct themselves nowadays. That is wonderful you are still learning about yourself, I also hope to be learning more when I’m your age. I also don’t know many 72 years olds that google the net so it is wonderful to see you are keeping up with technology! I can’t wait to start learning from Choeying Dolma! I will say a prayer for your friend.

Hullo. I was Googling Choeying Dolma, the Buddhist nun, and your site came up. You sound gorgeous but, perhaps, a bit confronting. I was born into an era when females were not encouraged to be so front-running as you are. I am 72 years old and still learning about myself and my value to the world. I go out of my way for people, too. At present I am seeing a friend through her Radiotherapy for a tumour on her pituitary gland. That’s how Choeying Dolma’s name came up. She is in a similar situation and is offerring her wisdom to my friend. Choeying Dolma has fulfilled the adage that “when the pupil is ready, the teacher will appear”. I wish you well in your travels through your life to get to my age and beyond. Go well. Anne

I do agree alot of men need to do a whole lot better but hey that’s up to them to make the most of themselves and their life.
I think the rules is the best book, quite funny, I just recommended it to a girlfriend today.
If you would be kind enough, please forward me “The Male Rules” I’m sure I will find it very amusing hhhmmmmmm or maybe intreguing.

Wow! You certainly manifest “The Rules” rather well.

I wonder whether there is room in your life for a guy. Or if you can find one who is worth it!

I read “What Women Want Next” and can see now why so many women simply give up on guys.

Sure, sure – I’d love to defend my gender – it’s just that with gals like you out there – we really need to do a whole lot better!

Lovely to discover your site (when looking for an image of “The Rules” to share with a female friend.

PS I have a two page set of “The Male Rules” for keeping a guy (if you find one you want to keep).
