In addition to being paid money, how else has your career created value in your life? I love what I do so I don’t feel like I am working. Every day is fun and a blessing!

What would be your goal as a parent? To lead by example, have fun and love a lot!
What does the word “family” mean to you? A lot of people that you are supposed to like because they are related. Fortunately 98% of my family is Fabulous!
How would your children describe you as a parent? Amazing!
In what ways have your parents influenced you the most? Great morals, intelligence, treat others as you would like to be treated, good looking ha.
Which of your parents do you most similar to and why? Dad because I go out of my way for people. Mum because I am over organized.
What is your relationship with your parents like today? Great! I’m finally training them to treat me like an adult (But I suppose acting like one helps)!
Who do you admire most in your family and why? Dad he’s a legend and always sets a great example! And we have the same witty sense of humor and crack each other up laughing.
Have you lost any family members to death? Yes my cousin Luke Maynes, my Granddad Patrick Maynes, my Aunty Kathy Maynes and my Grandpa Stan McCarthy.
If so, what was your relationship to them and how did their death affect you/your family? All my relationships are uniquely special with the individual person. I find all deaths terribly emotional and a traumatic experience to work through.

Hullo. I was Googling Choeying Dolma, the Buddhist nun, and your site came up. You sound gorgeous but, perhaps, a bit confronting. I was born into an era when females were not encouraged to be so front-running as you are. I am 72 years old and still learning about myself and my value to the world. I go out of my way for people, too. At present I am seeing a friend through her Radiotherapy for a tumour on her pituitary gland. That’s how Choeying Dolma’s name came up. She is in a similar situation and is offerring her wisdom to my friend. Choeying Dolma has fulfilled the adage that “when the pupil is ready, the teacher will appear”. I wish you well in your travels through your life to get to my age and beyond. Go well. Anne
Hi Anne, Thank you for your comments, I guess with a 4 decade age gap you would notice a big difference in how women conduct themselves nowadays. That is wonderful you are still learning about yourself, I also hope to be learning more when I’m your age. I also don’t know many 72 years olds that google the net so it is wonderful to see you are keeping up with technology! I can’t wait to start learning from Choeying Dolma!
