I have had a lovely stay in Brisbane the past week catching up with family at a wedding and my dear friend Naomi and made the most of South Bank, The Botanical Gardens, Kangaroo Point Stairs, the Storey Bridge and Riverside walk for my exercise (walks & runs)!
I also did my first ever Bikram Yoga class, well four actually in just one week!!
90mins, 40 degrees, 26 postures + two breathing techniques!
OMG my hamstrings were killing me, everything was aching and I had a great workout! Even though my muscle are very tight | constricted, I still tried to do my best at beginners level for the positions.
Such a wonderful class with our instructor Ben giving me excellent advice on how to get the best out of my workouts and complementing me on little improvements. I learnt so much about the wonderful exercises and benefits from Ben’s extensive knowledge, it’s all so very interesting! I felt marvellous after each class and was so relaxed!
I burnt 450 calories at each session so that is a good workout in itself!
