I was contacted by A Current Affair a couple of weeks ago to appear on this story but due to travel commitments I unfortunately missed the filming by one day!
This disgraceful and deceitful woman also owes me $7,500 for artwork and websites I designed for her business, and she has been ordered to pay me by the Magistrates Court of Queensland! (Court Ruling Below)
I even had a warrant put on her for her arrest but nothing seems to work!
Not sure what the go is with the Australian Legal System but if a ruling is ordered by a Judge one would think it would be enforced!?
I saw on A Current Affair last night my logo being used by Donna Amory on a banner, obviously stolen from an artwork proof that clearly states: Please note all artwork, attachments, photos and proofs are Copyright of Design House (Fraser Coast). All use is prohibited unless copyright ownership is purchased or authorised by Design House (Fraser Coast).
As Donna Amory obviously has no intention of paying her bills amounting to hundreds of thousands, I feel she should go to jail for the relevant time to correspond with all the money she has stolen which by the sound of it could be quite a few years!!
Everyone will still be out of pocket but Donna Amory could possibly ponder her actions and decide to perhaps live in a manner that is socially acceptable within the Australian community and that respects the Law of the Land!!!!
And most importantly learn some SELF love and respect!
How DO YOU sleep at night Donna??? And hurry up and pay me my money!!!!
It appears Donna now has Outback Jacks in Cannon Park in Townsville. Simply do a runner, start another business and begin the ‘Rip People Off’ process again and again and again!!!

They left Ingham owing money to a lot of people… (a share in the motel was a part of the building contract) They may also have spent time in Darwin and may have left bills there too, and maybe Toowoomba, Roma.
One word for the Amory’s – PARASITES!!
They befriend you then use your trust to rip you off – that’s what they did to us! The legal system has failed to stop them so I only hope A Current Affair and other media can do the job.

Quite brazen of you to comment on my blog when you spent months lying to me on the phone and via email about being paid by the Amory’s. I always say the company we choose to keep is a clear reflection of our own character!

The misfortune I dwell on ‘fan of the Amory’s’ is the fact that my son worked hard for these con artists, was befriended by them, and then he was shafted for his hard earned wages of in excess of $13000. I have also been called a’stupid bitch’ by Gary Amory and a ‘moron’ by the charming Mrs Amory for seeking redress of these circumstances. Mrs Amory threatened this morning that she would contact the Police as I was ‘harassing’ her.
Donna and Garry owe me a lot of money for the unit they are renting off me I am in the process of kicking out these lying people
When their matter next goes to court it would be a powerful statement for those who have been robbed to attend to make sure the legal process deals with them. I am not suggesting a mob, or anything of that nature, that would make us just as bad in many ways, just a quiet, solid, united, supportive contingent. A quiet statement that shouts ‘take responsibility for your actions’. One concern is that they may just pull up stumps and leave town….
It just goes on and on doesn’t it and I suppose the “fan” is either related of very close to these people. Yes if they have their day in court, anyone owed money should show up. This lady who did their design, you should go after them and get your money, after all it was ordered by a court. How does this happen? I guess it’s not followed to make sure it is paid. And they certainly live the high life for folk who don’t pay their bills. I think you might be right too – they wear out their welcome and then move on to another town/city and do the same. Maybe now it’s been on TV they will finally get their just desserts – or not…
Unfortunately the person who is owed the money needs to spend more on legal presentation to try to have the court order enforced & even then there is no guarantee of receiving what is owed & I’m sure these people are aware of this given their lack of concern for consequences. They obviously have no concern for the hardship caused to those they have failed to honour their ‘contract’ with.s

Clarification: What they do is misfortune (missing fortunes) for the community. What happens to them as a result is not.

I did not lie to you in 2009. I made every effort to have you and others paid for the work for which you were engaged.
When it became obvious that I could not accomplish what I had set out to do, I left, and that was in September 2009, almost 3 years ago.
When I contacted you a year later in 2010 it was in good faith.

When I submitted my comment this morning I had to type in my email address. Rather than now publicly identifying my email address on your blog so that everyone can see it, just let me know whether the blogs that you attributed to me came from the same address as this one or not. If you are able to refer back to communication between us when I first made contact with you, you will see that my email address has changed. If you check the email addresses posted by ‘another amory fan’ you may see that it is not THIS email address. I don’t know who wrote the comments but I can hazard a guess and I would probably be correct. There is only one person in the world that could or would consider doing something so underhanded. I leave it to your imagination as to who that might be. Suffice said on this matter.

I cancelled the above email address after the first comment so the person using it could not repost with it again even if they wanted to, they would have to as you say type in a different email.
Well I think it sucks that once you have a court order, that you then have to pay more money to get it paid! What about a class action for everyone who is owed money? I’d be a bit worried if I was their solicitor – am I going to be paid I’d be thinking. Maybe money upfront before I act for you guys. Jeannette, I KNOW that I did not post the comments that were put on your site to have you think they came from me. I also know that the email address that you quoted has not been used by me since Thursday, September 16th 2010 (I walked out of the office in Carmel Street on the morning of Friday 17th September, 2010). Only someone with a hidden agenda and with access to the email address you mentioned would consider posting a comment on your site attributing it to me. I can only think of one person so under handed that they would be capable of such deception.

Nikki, I suspect that the original “amory fan” was their daughter but there would be a very slight possibility I could be wrong…
It’s interesting how “fan of amory” and “another fan of amory” (probably the same person as I doubt they would have any fans except maybe one who is well known in Ingham and has supported and defended them all the way) reacted so quickly to my comments. Resentment because I was one of the first to question their integrity in 2009?
How are they paying for the restaurant they are ‘in charge’ of, how do they continue to have the finance to start up again & again, this must come from somewhere, someone must be holding the money that they aren’t paying to their creditors? This is what is needed to be known. I wonder how many meals could be managed without being paid for? What us the ABN they are operating under, are they meeting their ‘legal’ obligations in regards to this business? Does anyone know this stuff? If the Amory’s are reading this blog, know that your actions will never be forgotten & you will be revealed until you own up to your obligations.

How do you know the amory’s arnt in your boat?… Builders go broke everyday, my mate has just gone bust for 3million but he was also owed alot more, naturally people can’t pay if they havnt been paid.

I made the comment that Gary doesn’t have his license to build and the person I commented this to said “Well he’s still building”, so naughty naughty. I also looked at the BSA website and it said that Gary Amory does NOT (and it was in capitals) have a license and should he approach anyone and offer to build for them, these people should contact the BSA…So something sneaky is going on. Now as for who might have the money, mmm, probably family but I wouldn’t want to say any more on who. As a “parent” I would still stand by my children, no matter what.That’s about all I can offer guys.
Andrew T: Did your mate go on overseas holidays while owing lots of people lots of money? Did your mate just move town and start up a new company? Did your mate buy top of the line jet ski’s (reportedly imported from U.S.A.) while owing other people lots of money?. Did your mate treat the people he owed money to with the contempt that the Amory’s show? ACA gave them the opportunity to give their side of the story and they declined. They have had plenty of time to come up with something to explain these issues but I have not seen anything yet…
All of you seem to have very little understanding of the australian legal system. If people are owed money, as the Amorys obviously are, and these issues are currently in court, one: their solicitor has probably advised them not to comment to anyone, including reporters from a certain show, who are well know for being sneaky and shoving cameras in peoples faces without permission regardless of truth,and two: why should they talk to media or anyone else for that matter, because there is obviously two sides to this story. and they seem to be in a similar boat to you people in regards to people owing them money.

Jenny you say your son is owed a fair bit of money, he must of worked for them for a fair while during school holidays, why did you not step in?

Connor, thank you for your words of wisdom. My son is in his mid 20′s & initially the amory’s were paying him. Then they’d miss a payment, then another after my son worked his time. Then he’d be paid a little of what he was owed & so it continued. My son as I said initially was befriended by these people, & my son is very loyal to his friends, foolish I know. He tried many times to sort things out, he was made many promises. It was when he left them with another of the workers that the amory’s flatly refused to pay him what he was owed. I did try to intervene but was told by the amory’s to mind my own business, that my son was a big boy & to let him grow up. My son lived on credit card which he is still paying off, I loaned my son money to live, so did his father & sister, he has a long way to go to catch up from where the Amory’s led him. I believe that their are two sides to every story but am sick to death of hearing from Gary Amory that ‘you don’t know the full story’, he bleats this every chance he gets. Has he made genuine effort to settle his bills to those he owes? Not to my understanding. I don’t think that it is unrealistic for people to be paid what has been agreed by the parties & while the amory’s have a history of leaving unpaid debts in their wake I can show them little sympathy. If they are in financial trouble they should seek appropriate help, which has been offered, & ordered but which they haven’t taken up. Oh, & as to their solicitor advising them not to comment, woukd that be the same one that the Amory’s owe money too as well? It is my understanding that the people who are owed miney by the Amory’s are all genuine in their claims & have all gone well & truly above what should be expected in business. Hey folks, I don’t have to pay any bills, my money is my money to do with as I choose. No, I am fortunate in that they don’t owe me any money personally. I had other issues. With regards to “personal money” Andrew, I would think that ‘personal money’ should be used to pay ‘personal’ debts like housing rent and horse feed and agistment bills etc etc. No all of their debts are business related.

I took the Foul Mouthed Donna Amory to Court early 2011 with the aim to put a stop to her. Not to get my Minor amount of money owing.
I knew what she was up to.
My evidence was compelling, A No Brainer for a ‘Good Judge’
Maybe Qld Law should be accountable for all of those people ripped off after early 2011. negligence on behalf of Qld Law is Obvious to me.

Andrew & Connor – The Amory’s had every opportunity to ‘make it right’.
The people making comments here have first hand experience and have every right to voice their concerns.
I doubt either of your have submitted your real names, and if you have, then you have had no dealings with the Amory’s at all and you should not be making comments on a subject about which you know nothing.
Facts are facts guys. If they owe money to people then it should be paid, BEFORE they go on holidays overseas and BEFORE they buy nice things for themselves. If they are owed money then why not say that when ACA asked for their side of the story? It’s a simple thing to say, however this has been going on for quite some years, not just some recent thing, so something is not quite right me thinks. When people can present the evidence, like Jeanettes judgement from the magistrates court, well why wasn’t that money paid to Jeanette. This was in Nov 2010. Now they have been on holiday since then etc etc, so why not pay Jeanette her money?
Andrew T, do you support your family when they need help? I am proud of my son & how he has dealt with a very distressing situation & the position it put him in. & yes I know the whole story. Well, Donna may not have been arrested, but one would wonder why when there clearly was an arrest warrant. Maybe it’s a case of not what you know, but who you know?? I understand that Jenna would defend her mother as that is what family does, but I wonder if she is aware of the facts as they really are, not just what she has been told. Hi Non amory fan if you read this blog from the beginning a couple of assetts are mentioned.
Because other people owe you money does not give you the right to go out and owe other people money. If you cannot afford to have a website/logo etc made and paid, then you don’t have a web site/logo. Simple as that.

So, personal or business money is irrelevant, they should pay their debts and stop taking advantage of people. There are no assumptions when it concerns the Amory’s. Many who have had the “amory experience” have been or will be financially fleeced to some degree.
Are they still managing Outback Jack’s at Cannon Park in Townsville? Pity if they are.

From reading between the lines on this blog I am thinking that this “Personal” money actually comes from Mummy and/or Daddy… and not from the string of failed business ventures.
No actually Mum and Dad are really nice people and I don’t think that they have anything to do with this. They support their children, right or wrong, which is fine, but they just don’t seem to think or openly admit that there is a real problem here. But the problem is with Gary and Donna, not their family. They have to take responsibility for this, but somehow I don’t see that happening. It can only be fixed by them and no-one else, so hope that anyone who is owed money is eventually paid.

Hi Jeanette….I googled info on Gary and Donna Amory and what an enjoyable read I have had on your blog!!!! I have lived for 5 years, in a house in Toowoomba, which the Amory’s had rented with the intention to buy. They did a midnight flit, owing heaps of money, to the owner of the property, and quite a number of people in different business. To this day we are still receiving mail for them and people coming to the door wanting their money. If you have an address for them I would appreciate it so I can re-address their mail and send the debt collectors to the right address!!!

Yes, Outback Jack closed down quite some time ago. I believe the premises re-opened under another name (same managers) but has since closed. Usual story. I wonder who is under their spell and is being ripped off these days?

Obviously the legal system doesn’t work, but by shaming and naming certainly gives us a bit of justice. Korda mentha haven’t contacted us yet. I doubt the post office has enough stamps to cope with the volume of mail the administrators would need to send out info to the creditos.
Why not a class action do the people involved hold assetts? I think it was mentioned they owned part of a hotel.

In one of my pictures above of a document from the Magistrates Court of Queensland the last paragraph says you are commanded to arrest Donna Amory and bring here before the Townsville Court.
Whether the Police did or not, you think they would have that recorded, otherwise they have not executed the order?
Hhhmmmmmm a Sunshine Coast Police man, perhaps that is the Amorys new place of residence?
Oh and Barbara, Donna and Gary have about 10 properties between them I’ve been informed + a jet ski and a nice land rover.
Donna was a police auxiliary… unless she became a police officer after that but I don’t think so.
I believe they are still existing in Townsville and there may be his and hers jet ski’s.

Don’t know what type of procedure that is so it might not be a “court case” as such. Just that it was originating in Townsville which might indicate that that is where they still are.

TOWNSVILLE BULLETIN:
Former landlord Howard Battye said he had lost faith in the legal system which had allowed former Outback Jacks Cannon Park franchisees Donna and Gary Amory to reclaim their goods but not made them pay their multiple debts.
Mr Amory was declared bankrupt on March 5, and his creditors will have to try to get their money through his trustee.
