Quinn says Trump is not an honorable man!

Last night when out on the town I ran into Mr Malcolm Quinn (editor of the Ipswich Independent and organiser of the ‘Trump In Australia’ seminars) at the Bay Central Tavern in Hervey Bay. While I had the opportunity I thought it best to query him as to whether he would pay the $2.5K he had charged me for the Trump in Australia seminar ticket I recently purchased that never went ahead. Mr Quinn said Trump is not an honorable man and that he owes me my money back!

I told Mr Quinn I was quite embarrassed by his obvious lack of business ethic’s and what he had done to Mr Trump! Mr Quinn walked off to the bar irritated and said he had never had anyone speak to him like I had before. I said I found it hard to believe that he has over a million dollars of Australian business people’s money and no one had addressed him directly on this matter till now? Quinn told me Mr Trump had ripped the Australian people off not him…. I said I clearly remember my money going into your bank account and not Trumps.

When Mr Quinn returned with another drink… I queried him further and had to write his exact quotes down as I didn’t want to get all the F words in the wrong places or misquote anything as I was alittle stunned!

Mr Quinn repeatedly told me, “Everyone can get f@cked!!!!”

I said what about all the money you owe?, “Who gives a f@ck!!!!!”

I asked what about all the people who want their money back?, “They’re d@ckheads if they want their money back, go to your merchant bank provider, like I said I don’t give a f@ck”

I said maybe people’s banks don’t have refund policies for goods and services not received?, “Who gives a f@ck!!!!!”

Mr Scott Rowe editor of the Fraser Coast Independent informed me the liquidators are currently suing Trump. (I don’t know if his statement is true or not as I can’t see the reasoning).

David Stimpson, Brisbane-based liquidator of the failed promotion company The Concept Store, said the contract negotiated by Concept Store director Malcolm Quinn is weighted heavily in Mr Trump’s favour. The terms include a provision for Mr Trump to cancel with no repercussions.   Click here to read more…..

I feel Trump will have a field day with him just for the fun of it as he can afford to!

I queried was nothing learnt from Trump’s book!

He also looks rather well dressed for a man who has a taxable income of $2300 for the 2007 financial yr!!!! and he says trump isnt an honourable man! Last I checked Cheating on your wife of 9 yrs isnt too honourable either!!!

just for the record…..the worm will get to keep his family home despite the debt owing to trump…. altho the 2 rental properties are on the market and arent getting much interest….I would make a real awesome private detective….the family home and the 2 business premises would fix the debt completely … Its funny how some ppl just have to have BIG things to show their wealth… I think its just him overcompansating for the lack of heart he has.

Comment from Today Tonight on Malcolm Quinn.

“He put every cent he owns and everything he could raise on the line, if the Trump works, he’ll make a profit. If not, he’s lost the lot.”

Well it failed and as far as I can see he lost nothing!!!

    Talk about daylight robery!!!

    Jeanette,

Whilst we share the same surname, we do not share too much more than that. I was at the Bay Central Tavern the evening that this photograph and supposed interview took place. In fact I was sitting at the very same table.

    Are you kidding me ?

I know that you did not, at anytime, divulge your intentions or that the photograph you asked to have taken with Malcolm would be used in anyway, other than for personal use.

At no time, did I hear Malcolm use any of the language or make any of the comments you claim, and I was there for the entire discussion. I know you were clearly intoxicated.

Perhaps you should do the right thing and remove this blog, which is both defaming and incorrect and perhaps says more about you as a person and as a professional than it does about anybody else.

Someone actually referred me to your Design House business, but upon seeing this, I remember you from that evening and will certainly be looking elsewhere.

I trust you will show the character to post this reply.

    Hi Elliot,
    Please note;
    1. Our surnames are not the same and are spelt differently.
    2. You were not on the table and nowhere near the discussion (I don’t do interviews, I’m not a journalist), I know exactly who was sitting where, who heard & said what and have photos of the table and those present.
    3. Personal use, what did you think I was going to blow the photo up and put it on the ceiling of my bedroom!!!!
    4. No you weren’t there for any of the discussion and please note I was not the one that had been heavily drinking since 12noon at ‘The Independent Newspaper’ function that is owned by Mr Quinn.
    5. I don’t see how direct quotes can be classed as deformation?
    6. My professionalism, I didn’t rip off 1.5million dollars of Australian Business Peoples money?
    7. From the lies written on here I don’t want your business. Dishonest people are most certainly not part of my target market.
    8. Please don’t concern yourself with my character; I always encourage people to look after their own!
    9. Thank you for your false & misinformed comments…

At the time, I owned Dymocks North Sydney and agreed to pay Mr Quinn $15,000 for the rights to sell the books and similar materials at the events. I paid him 50% of this figure and up until hours before he put the business into administration, Quinn was telling me everything was fine and that he was “ahead of all of our targets.” Nice one, eh? Losing this money was the final nail in the coffin of owning this business.
